Founded in 2025, Georgian Scientific Industries (GSI) specializes in the development and production of high-technology scientific equipment and software designed to expand access to quality science education and research tools.
Our Mission
GSI is a mission-driven initiative dedicated to making science accessible, affordable, and inspiring for learners of all backgrounds. Through the creation and distribution of open-source scientific instruments, digital learning resources, and educational content, we empower students, educators, and communities across Georgia to actively engage with science.
Our Vision
Our vision is to cultivate a new generation of critical thinkers, innovators, and problem-solvers by transforming science education into a hands-on, exploratory experience rather than a purely theoretical one.
By placing microscopes, simulations, and open-source experimental platforms directly into the hands of students, we enable young learners to: Ask meaningful questions, explore real-world phenomena and develop research skills.
GSI goes beyond delivering equipment; we ignite curiosity and enable discovery.
Students across Georgia are already using Foldscopes, digital simulations, and low-cost laboratory kits to design their own experiments and lead community-focused science initiatives.
These projects include: Analyzing local water quality, documenting regional plant biodiversity, collecting and interpreting environmental data and haring scientific findings through storytelling and collaboration.
Such experiences foster critical thinking, teamwork, environmental awareness and scientific literacy, demonstrating to young people that science is a powerful tool for understanding and improving the world around them.
